come and help us celebrate publication of our book – On a farm. In Central London
On 3 October, it’s our big night out: we’re celebrating publication of Gardening for the Zombie Apocalypse, the book, in the highly suitable surroundings of an urban farm just yards from Waterloo Station. The farm is run by Oasis, a truly excellent charity that teaches disadvantaged young people to (among other things) grow and cook their own food, in a zombie garden of raised beds and polytunnels. It’s also home to piglets, a goat and two quite cross geese.
Being a proper farm, Oasis has a fabulous barn – which is where we will be at 6.30pm, drinking wild plum gin from our own zombie garden. If you’d like to join us, we’ll be selling signed copies of the book, and giving away some of our zombie-garden produce from this year’s harvest. For details and to let us know you’re coming, visit our page at Eventbrite — we look forward to meeting you!
